Every inception of Spiritfest is different, and the day is created on the morning we all show up for the first time! The shape and focus of the day is set when people come forward and offer their talents. This year we have an amazing variety of workshops, performances and demonstrations, made possible by the generosity of the Sharon Temple National Historic Site.

With room to spread out and create our own little village, anything and everything can happen!

Help us support the advocacy work of the York Region Food Network, and possibly contribute financially to their efforts to make poverty and hunger unacceptable in our affluent area. There will be a silent auction with wonderful items for you to bid on, with all proceeds going to YRFN.

Our visitors can take part in music circles, collaborative art projects, heritage demonstrations like buttermaking, create your own recycled newsprint planter to start seeds in, hear a story, make a puppet, sing a song — or just spend some quality time watching life’s rich pageant roll by…

What will YOU bring to Spiritfest this year?

And what do you hope to experience?
